Elementary and Middle School ages
Here at Get On Stage Drama, we nurture children’s desire to explore and have fun through drama games, skits, and Improve.
There is no experience necessary, just the desire to learn, work together exploring new experiences, and have lots of fun.
We find that drama games can help even the shyest child become much more relaxed and comfortable around other kids, people, and in a group setting. Children who may be afraid to speak in front of the class, start to focus on having fun and camaraderie with their peers, and they become much more confident and outgoing as the classes go on.
These classes foster close bonds between classmates that bloom into friendships that will last a lifetime.
We do not offer a place for parents to watch classes out of respect for the other children. Some of the children are very shy when first coming to class, and we do not want them to feel stressed. We want them to have fun, and come out of their shell. This also allows YOUR child to be in a stress-free environment free from Outsiders watching the class.
At the end of the year, the drama students will share what they’ve learned through a FREE DRAMA SHOWCASE for parents, family, and Friends. Come on in, we’d love to have you!
Each class is 1 hour in length, and follows the traditional school schedule. Parents are welcome to pay for the entire semester in advance for a 10% discount, or pay monthly. There is a 10% off sibling discount per sibling.
