The Get On Stage Little Limelite program is a unique musical theater program lovingly designed for children ages 3 to 7, encouraging every child to actively take part in the Limelight.
The Little Limelight program welcomes children who dream of the spotlight, and seek a place to feel valued and included. Children who participate in theater classes are likely to develop essential skills like creativity, imagination, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. Over the past 20 years, the program and classes have been designed to create a perfect balance of acting, singing, and dancing.
Our age-appropriate performing arts curriculum introduces students to musical theater concepts via singing, movement, and imaginative play. We build self-esteem and life skills while fostering A Love For The Performing Arts. Theater participation builds listening and speaking skills, confidence, empathy, and also enhances cognitive flexibility.
Our absolute mission is to support children’s growth and success both on stage and in their everyday lives. With our expertise and your children’s natural abilities, musical theater will become your child’s favorite activity.
We do not offer a place for parents to watch classes out of respect for the other children. Some of the children are very shy when first coming to class, and we do not want them to feel stressed. We want them to have fun, and come out of their shell. This also allows YOUR child to be in a stress-free environment free from Outsiders watching the class. At the end of the session, there will be a showcase for parents, family, and friends to view.
