Welcome to Get On Stage DRAMA SHOW CHOIR. We are a non-competitive drama show choir. No singing, dancing, or acting experience? No problem!! No singing, dancing, or acting experience required with Get On Stage… just FUN!!
WHAT WE OFFER
We teach your child fun, popular, well-known songs with age-appropriate lyrics. Your child will sing to fun, popular, well-known songs with age-appropriate lyrics. Some songs will be with music, some acapella, and some four-part harmony.
We teach your child fun dance choreography to go with some of the songs. Your child will learn fun dance choreography to go with some of the songs. Your child will enjoy drama and singing games, along with fun, short Improv skits in between selected songs. There will be brief singing and dancing warm-ups at the beginning of class.
At the end of each session, your child will participate in a new and different fun and exciting showcase presentation for parents, family, and friends.
For the end of the session showcase, we use just a few props and some things that your child may already have from home as costumes. Your child’s main costume will be black stretch pants and a colorful t-shirt they get when they are registered for class. They will get their t-shirts sometime at the beginning of the session.
THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY
- Never any long scripts to memorize
- No risers to trip on or confine your child to one area or place
- No microphones to mess with while dancing and moving around the stage
- No expensive costumes to buy
- No tickets to buy to come see the end of the session showcase

Our classes and showcases are for fun and enjoyment for your child. Our showcases are fun, free enjoyment for parents, family, and friends.
POSSIBLE FUTURE PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES:
We may have opportunities for the kids to perform outside of their after-school program in places like: SENIOR CARE FACILITIES, FAIRGROUNDS, BALL GAMES, DISNEY WORLD, etc.
WHAT WE DO NOT OFFER:
- We do not offer voice lessons
- We do not offer dance lessons
- We do not offer drama classes
- We do not compete in stressful competitions
We do not offer a place for parents to watch classes out of respect for the other children. Some of the children are very shy when first coming to class, and we do not want them to feel stressed. We want them to have fun, and come out of their shell. This also allows YOUR child to be in a stress-free environment free from Outsiders watching the class. At the end of the session, there will be a showcase for parents, family, and friends to view.
